The Ruth Guild of St. Luke's Lutheran Church operates under the guidance and direction of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). The mission of the LWML is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

Women members of St. Luke's, 18 yrs and older, are welcome to join the Ruth Guild for altar service and support of other Church sponsored charities and social events. Some of these events include the Progressive Dinner, the Older But Wiser Luncheon, the Mother-Daughter and Father-Son Dinners, the Confirmation Reception, and the Christmas Basket Bonanza fund raiser. Meetings are held monthly to enjoy good food, fellowship, prayer and devotion, as well as to plan for upcoming events.

Service is key to building faith and the Ruth Guild provides many opportunities for Christian women to be of service, both in their Church and in the community.
